The Horizon Report in Action: Emerging Technologies Today and Tomorrow
Wondering what's new in mobiles, electronic books, learning analytics and other emerging technology areas? Join Malcolm Brown of the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative as he reviews the Horizon Report and examines how the findings can be applied at your institution. During this keynote presentation, Malcolm will discuss various emerging technologies likely to have a significant impact on teaching, learning, and creative expression over the next five years and highlight how institutions across the world are implementing these technologies. The Horizon Report is an annual publication of the Horizon Project, a joint undertaking of the ELI and the New Media Consortium.
The two-day symposium includes presentations, topic-oriented special interest discussion groups, hands-on workshops, and demonstrations.
There is no charge to attend, but pre-registration is required. Lunch and refreshments are provided courtesy of our event sponsors both days.
